AN ACT making a supplementary appropriation of public moneys out
of the treasury from the balance of moneys remaining as an
unappropriated balance in the state fund, general revenue,
to the executive, governor's office, civil contingent fund,
account no. fund 0105, fiscal year 1997, organization 0100,
all supplementing and amending the appropriation for the
fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand
nine hundred ninety-seven.
Whereas, There now remains an unappropriated balance in the
state treasury which is available for appropriation during the
fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine
hundred ninety-seven; therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending the
thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, to
the executive, governor's office, civil contingent fund, account
no. fund 0105, fiscal year 1997, organization 0100, be supplemented and amended by increasing the total appropriation by
three million dollars as follows:

Any unexpended balance remaining in the appropriation for
Civil Contingent Fund--Total (fund 0105, activity 114) at the
close of the fiscal year 1996-97 is hereby reappropriated for
expenditure during the fiscal year 1997-98.
The purpose of this bill is to supplement this account in
the budget act for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of
June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, by adding three
million dollars to the existing appropriation to the aforesaid
account for expenditure during the fiscal year one thousand nine
hundred ninety-seven.
